Spanky's Clubhouse

What a beautiful time of year with all of the colors of the flowers and the trees. The green of the grass and the birds singing so sweetly. Tulips, hyacinths, daffodills - Oh how lovely is the spring. The smell of grass and the gentle breeze without the bugs. Oh thank you wonderful Creator for this most beautiful time of year. Everyone is outside digging in the dirt or mowing the grass or picking up sticks. This Saturday is the Kentucky Derby and oh the mint juleps and the colorful hats and my "Old Kentucky Home". Some mint juleps are selling for $1000 each. Wow, the horses, the drinks and the sun is shining brightly and the jockeys are racing for the finish line-summer must not be far away.
What is that big drink you are sipping? A mint julep?
